Short Term Action

• Develop community resource guide and distribute to churches for ministering to families in crises to alleviate pain and suffering
• Develop a contact list of people in churches to improve communication and collaboration of service providers with the faith community
• Encourage increased efforts to visit and witness to individuals and families who need to hear about the Lord and His hope; to help people feel welcome and comfortable in church; and to build disciples
• Increase awareness of church ministries and activities to build participation in the community
• Include in community activity and events guide under Attracting Visitors and New Citizens

Medium Term Action

• Plan a community party to bring together faith community to have fun and talk about the Lord
• Action Idea - a ‘Family Day’ type of event at the fairground to honor and pray for our hometown heroes - soldiers, law enforcement, child welfare, firefighters, others.
• Invite churches to Resource Fair at SAU Spring 2005

Long Term Action

• Plan, develop and support positive social outlets for youth through opportunities for Christian music and fellowship events, youth-led school events and groups, and youth collaborations for local missions and service
• Action Idea - a large event with Christian music and church fund-raising booths highlighted by a big-name Christian musician
• Action Idea – Youth Service League comprised of teens from area churches
• Research and plan unity-building programming for Ministerial Alliance, possibly a mediator to teach on diversity and accepting others
